Born in Cobh, County Cork, Freddie White has long been synonymous with music of the highest quality.Whether interpreting songs by his favourite writers, such as Randy Newman, Tom Waits, John Hiatt and Guy Clark, or performing his own classy compositions, his live performances are nothing short of legendary.
Freddie has been part of the fabric of the live music scene in Ireland since the 1970’s and his albums continue to sell well, amongst both his loyal followers and his new-found fan base.
In 2011 he left Ireland for Sydney, Australia, spending six years here, then living in New York for a year, before returning to Ireland, where he now lives in Co Clare.
Freddie will be back here for a short period soon, and while here will take the opportunity to stage this one-off Sydney gig at The Gaelic Club!
