About
Following brief AGM formalities, we will delve into an informative and interactive plenary discussion with:Brendan Sydes – ACF Biodiversity Policy Advisor and Connecting Country President.
Ian Higgins – local threatened species guru, conservation expert and founding member of Friends of Campbells Creek.
Ann-Marie Monda – landowner (with Carla Meurs) from Wooroomook property in Sutton Grange integrating environmental improvements within agricultural practises.
Chaired by Sharon Fraser from the Castlemaine Institute, the panel will discuss the current state of the environment and why conservation work is so important - more so now than ever. We will celebrate some of the local achievements to date and consider future opportunities for continuing positive environmental change, under changing financial, environmental and climate conditions.
You will be invited to contribute your ideas on what you think is important and help shape the future direction of Connecting Country.
