Ride the rail trail
About
Heyfield Community Resource Centre and the Heyfield Adventure Hub present Ride The Rail Trail, 21km of gentle riding from Cowwarr to Tinamba. Riders will be accompanied by hosts who will bring the trail to life with stories of its history, development, and diverse landscapes.Meet at the Rail Trail crossing in the Main Street of Cowwarr, then ride as a group to Heyfield for a light snack at Quick Cuppa, then onto Tinamba with the option of a Foccacia at the Tinamba Hotel (drinks in Tinamba at own expense).
A shuttle bus will be available to transfer riders from Tinamba to Cowwarr at the end of the day and a vehicle to assist if a breakdown occurs. All riders must wear bicycle helmet, carry a water bottle and have a well-functioning bicycle.
