About
The Bodach Boys is a play following an Irish influenced Cockney gang, made up of WWI veterans.Led by brothers, Michael and Tadgh Murphy, in Whitechapel, London. 1936, just 18 months before what will come to be known as WWII. Our story follows Tadgh, the ambitious and charismatic younger brother as his ambitions to lead are emboldened by the attentions of a beautiful but naive woman, Lorelai. Meanwhile the older brother Michael, is forced to deal with Cas as his increasingly violent episodes of PTSD have attracted the attention of a cunning and cruel Police Inspector, hellbent on exterminating the Gang from the streets of Whitechapel. As the stress of leading gives rise to Michael’s temper, and female attention gives rise to Tadgh’s ego and ambition, tension spreads between the brothers and the gang at large.
Will our Boys survive the noose of the ruthless Inspector? Or will the Inspector have the last laugh?
