Join the esteemed Aurora Vocal Ensemble for their festive concert, ’Tis The Season!

Performing favourites old and new, this concert is for all ages, including plenty of opportunities to sing along. There will be two 40 minute sets, with a break between.

After the concert we invite the audience to join us for a drink on the lawn where there will be wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options for sale.

Aurora Vocal Ensemble is the senior vocal ensemble of internationally renowned South Australian youth choir school Young Adelaide Voices, under the direction of award-winning conductor Christie Anderson. A diverse and talented ensemble, Aurora performs a range of repertoire from early music to contemporary folk and pop. Aurora have performed with The Rolling Stones, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Brink Theatre Company, Gravity & Other Myths, and have been part of Adelaide Festival, Desert Song Festival, Sydney Festival, and Darwin Festival.

In 2021 Aurora received a National Indigenous Music Award for their work on The Djari Project with Netanela Mizrahi and Mr Gurruwiwi. The record was one of ABC Classic’s feature albums for NAIDOC Week 2022. The group has been part of the annual A Capella Academy at UKARIA Cultural Centre since 2022, working and performing with Timothy Wayne-Wright, The Gesualdo Six, and VOCES8. In 2023, Aurora performed at WOMAD, with a program highlighting the ensemble's diverse range of repertoire: from folk to classical to contemporary.

This year the group delivered Tarab, a sold-out meditation experience for Adelaide Fringe, grounded in deep listening and connection. The show will return in 2025. Aurora is based and rehearses on Kaurna Yerta.
