In this Tech Talk, you will learn about:

• the basics about single-cell sequencing and single-cell atlases,
• current single-cell sequencing technologies and
• the non-coding methods to access and use single-cell atlases in your research.

Dr Alen Faiz (Head of the Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology (RBMB) Lab, leader of the UTS CRISPR Cas9 Facility) will lead the workshop. Dr Faiz’s research program has made significant contributions to the understanding of the molecular pathways that underpin the development and progression of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and asthma through the development of bioinformatics pipelines and advanced cell culture and genetic editing techniques.
