Adelaide Jazz Club presents its Vocal Summer Camp with mentors Pete Churchill (UK), Royal Academy of Music, and Ingrid James (QLD), Queensland Jazz Club. On the trail of their ABC Records release "Search for Peace," these elite performers conduct a one-and-only workshop in Adelaide. For vocalists, music teachers, and accompanists, this will include a participant concert after the workshop.Ingrid is very passionate about Community and has founded, and continues to produce and host many community events, including the iconic JAZZ SINGERS' JAM NIGHT @ The Brisbane Jazz Club (since 2001 to present).
Pete Churchill has been working as a composer, pianist, singer and teacher for almost 30 years. After twenty years teaching at the Guildhall in the UK, Pete is now Professor of Jazz Composition at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
