Personalised Cropping Decisions Workshop: Thallon
About
Save time and money over the traditional ‘sow and see’ approach, by simulating different crop types, management decisions and seasonal effects to answer the following:(i) How do you know if you’re growing the best crop you can? Is there something better you should try?
Compare the results of different crop decisions across a range of seasons. Explore the likely outcomes from changing fertiliser rates, planting dates, seed varieties, and other management factors.
(ii) Which cropping system is best for you – what are the effects on following crops?
Can you choose a cropping system that gives you greater long-term profitability? Will growing a cash crop now, cost you in the long run? Get the answers to these and other questions.
The "Personalised Cropping Decisions" workshop is a guided self-learning process helping you make personalised cropping decisions with hands-on training using the decision-support tools CropARM and RotationARM and peer-to-peer learning.
