De-escalation and safety Training for NHs (SOLD OUT)

CHN Southern have noted through communication with Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres that there has been an uptick in violent, antisocial behaviours that they are having to managed safely onsite. Training is designed for Staff and Volunteers who are dealing with members of the public. CHN Southern sourced this highly recommended program that is designed to promote safety and minimise the risk of occupational violence and aggression towards staff and volunteers. Our facilitator Ms. Lesley Whiteside has a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge to design and deliver a highly engaging and interactive session for your team. At the end of the program, you will gain confidence and competency in a range of techniques to stay safe. These will include risk assessment, situational awareness, de-escalation techniques and managing substance abuse and mental health concerns.The program would be delivered in a half day format.
