About
Barb Waters' storied career spans many years in the Australian music landscape. She has featured in Chris Wilson’s Crown of Thorns, The Hollowmen, fronted the Rough Diamonds, Bad Audrey and the Mothers of Pearl, and is held in highest regard as a singer-songwriter. Her album ‘Rosa Duet’ garnered international acclaim and lead to headline shows in the UK and Europe. Since then Barb has reunited with the Crown of Thorns, toured with Archie Roach, played with The Killjoys, and collaborated with Kerri Simpson, Alison Ferrier and Suzannah Espie on the Bluebirds album. 20 years after its first release ‘Rosa Duet’ was recently launched on vinyl through Cheersquad with sold out shows in Melbourne at the Brunswick Ballroom and Out on the Weekend. Never one to rest on her laurels Barb performs live with her band and solo and is collaborating on new duets, recording at Real World Studios (UK) and Audrey Studios (Melb).Barb Waters Trio perform two sets in the intimate surrounds of the Tav.
