Gunnedah Shire Recovery Workshops
About
Free Recovery Workshops will be held in December 2024.The workshops will include Australian Red Cross presenting the Emergency REDiPlan. An education program to support people, including those vulnerable, to reduce the personal disruption caused by flooding. A light lunch or dinner will be provided (depending on session booked) followed by a presentation from NSW State Emergency Service (SES) Northwestern Zone who will share information on flooding in Gunnedah Shire. This will also include some of the new equipment and monitoring activities implemented since the 2022 flooding events.
You will be welcome to ask questions and take-home free resources to better prepare yourself, family or loved ones.
All workshops will be held at the Salvation Army Hall on Tempest Street Gunnedah. Kids will be welcome to attend.
