Discover the amazing work of wildlife rehabilitators including volunteers, vets and more!In this experience for students in Year 7 to Year 10 participants will:
- Learn about the stages of rehabilitation and seasonal effects on our hospital
- Discover the care needs of wildlife in our hospital
- Explore the different roles in our wildlife hospital
- Meet wildlife ambassadors who live at Kanyana!
This is a "drop and leave" program that runs from 8.30am - 2.30pm onsite at Kanyana Wildlife. We recommend you arrive 15min early to allow for sign-in. Please ensure participants have a packed morning tea and lunch, as food is not provided as a part of this program, and there is no cafe onsite. Please also bring a water bottle and enclosed shoes. Weather-appropriate clothing is recommended as we shall be outside for part of the day. All of our program leaders have a Working with Children Check and First Aid Certification.
