Favourite loaf cakes
In this class, you will bake some of my favourite cakes, including a plum & hazelnut loaf, a citrus cake with yogurt and olive oil, an orange & poppyseed cake and a classic banana cake with walnuts. These cakes were amongst the most popular cakes at our stalls that we used to have at the Uraidla and Stirling Markets here in the Adelaide Hills.
We will start the class around our kitchen table, and I will take you through the recipes step-by-step, before you roll up your sleeves and get into it! We will finish off around the kitchen table with a bite to eat (a cheese platter with fruit) and, of course, sample one of the cakes, and you will also take one of each cake home.
Apart from being fun, the class is designed to provide you with the skills and confidence to replicate each recipe at home. The small class size (maximum of 6 participants) ensures plenty of opportunity for questions and one-on-one conversations to maximise your learning experience.
