📣 Keynote Speaker: The Hon Chief Justice Stephen Gageler AC - High Court of Australia ⚖️

The 2025 International Conference, titled 'Global Summit of Hellenic Lawyers', marks an unprecedented collaboration between HAL, the Hellenic Lawyers Association of New York, the Cyprus Bar Association, and the Plenary of the Greek Bar Associations. The Plenary of the Greek Bar Associations and the Cyprus Bar Association serve as the primary representative bodies for all lawyers in Greece and Cyprus respectively, while the Hellenic Lawyers Association of New York functions as the premier organisation representing Hellenic lawyers in the United States.

Delegates will enjoy a memorable conference with an opening ceremony at the Acropolis Museum, followed by two immersive days of conference sessions, and concluding with an exclusive closing dinner. Accompanying persons (non-lawyers) are welcome to participate in all events and conference sessions alongside their full-paying delegate, enabling a shared conference experience. 

The Summit’s program will feature many eminent and thought-provoking speakers as well as panel Q&A sessions. Key topics will cover AI's regulatory and ethical challenges to democracy, comparisons of Australian and Greek legal systems in upholding the rule of law, the influence of social media on judicial legitimacy, global best practices for the rule of law, legal practice and ethics in the era of AI, and insights from ancient Greece for addressing modern challenges.

The intellectual leadership and judicial eminence of the Honourable Stephen Gageler AC, Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, combined with our pre-eminent speakers and distinguished scholars will undoubtedly enrich the conference.
