About
Learn about two fun contemporary art forms in this one workshop: Pop Art and Collage.After discussing various artists and viewing examples, we will find out about the tools and techniques we can use to create your own collage masterpiece to take home.
This workshop is presented by collage artist Claire Pannell who is fascinated with pop art and how it reflects the times we live in.
All materials and supplies are provided.
Optional: If you dare, have a photo taken of yourself and printed in the workshop to include in your collage artwork. Feel free to bring a costume for the photo.
Please note there are two sessions:
10am-11.30am for 7-10 yrs
1.00pm-2.30pm for 11-16yrs
Claire’s art places the mundane into unusual juxtapositions, sometimes to comment on society, or to be absurd. She often uses art and technologies to explore the relationship between science and the world.
Please note: there is only one price for this workshop as MAAC does not have any members who are under 18.
