2025 GSODA Workshop Auditions - Additional Audition Day (SOLD OUT)
About
The GSODA Junior Players conducts a Musical Theatre workshop each year for children interested in joining the GSODA Junior Players.This is an opportunity for young performers aged 10-13 years by 30th April year of entry, to learn the three disciplines of musical theatre: acting, singing and dance. The workshop runs for four school terms and culminates in an annual performance piece.
Entry to the 2025 GSODA Workshop is by audition. Auditions will be held on Sunday 8 December 2024 and successful applicants will be notified in December for commencement in Term 1 2025.
The audition requirements:
Singing - One minute song - instrumental backing track can be played from phone
Dance - One minute dance - can dance/move during their prepared song or prepare a separate dance
Acting - One minute monologue. Can be a script reading, poem or monologue.
Participants are welcome to wear costumes or bring small props with them to use during their audition - but this is not a requirement.
