2024 Block 1: 10 Mondays, 20/01/2025-31/03/2025Synthesis of Suzuki Training, Grotowski and Thursday Group variations:
Co-facilitator at Thursday Group, Tessa Marie Luminati leads Monday sessions at our studios in North Melbourne. 10-week, 5-week or one-off observation sessions can be booked. We explore the synthesis of actor training disciplines, Suzuki Method of Actor Training, Grotowski impulse and co-devising techniques and Thursday Group variations. Participants learn the core Suzuki Training exercises and create bridges between these and Grotowski's embodied impulse work. These explorations are gathered as vocabulary for a showing of work late in 2024. Be ready for intense physical, vocal and imaginative training and exploration.
