How does the passport work so I can win the prize?

• At your first venue stop you may collect your passport.  Look for the ‘Passport office Signage’. Show them your try booking receipt so you can collect.
• If you have not purchased a passport, you can utilize the QR code at one of the venues ‘passport office’ to purchase one.
• Please note when passports are collected and collated Hinterland Tourism will be tallying the passports against the names registered on Try booking. Should your name not be on the list with Try booking your passport will be void and you will not go in the draw to win the prize. Please ensure the name on your Try booking receipt matches your passport name.
• Your passport is the key to the number of entries you have in the draw. Each venue you visit will give you one entry in the draw. The more venues you visit the more chances for you to win.
• Any food outlet on the Hinterland will give you one entry in the draw. Please collect the receipt for your purchase and take the receipt to one of the venues with a ‘passport office’ so they can stamp your passport and the receipt. Should you have a digital receipt the venue will sign and stamp your passport. You will receive one stamp only from that outlet so you cannot split receipts to gain more stamps if from the same outlet! Please note the food outlets will not have stamps for the passport, only the venues on the trail.
• If you stay in the hinterland for the festival weekend it will give you 3 entries in the draw. Please note the accommodation house will not have stamps for the passport, only the venues on the trail.
• If you purchase anything from a retail store on the hinterland that weekend- it will give you one entry in the draw. Only one stamp will apply if multiple receipts from the same outlet. Please note the retail outlets will not have stamps for the passport only the venues on the trail.
• ALL the questions on the information page of your passport must be answered (so we can contact you if you are the winner!). This will give you an extra entry in the draw!

Terms and Conditions of the Passport and Win a Wedding Prize

1. Your wedding date will be Thursday 5^th March 2026. This date is not transferable as all suppliers and venues have blocked out this date.
2. The prize is a complete wedding package with the venue and suppliers.
3. You can choose the venue from our listed venues who are participating in the win a wedding -The Old Dairy Maleny, Tiffanys Maleny, Flaxton Gardens, Maleny Orchard & Goodwater Ridge Maleny.
4. The prize will be drawn on Monday 20^th January 2025.
5. The winner will be notified via phone and/or email.
6. The winner MUST choose their venue as per clause 3 by Monday 27^th January 2025.
7. Should the winner not be in touch or have chosen the venue by Monday 27^th January 2025 the prize will be redrawn once.
8. The redraw will commence Tuesday 28^th January 2025 in which the couple must choose the venue of their choice by Tuesday 4^th February 2025.
9. If the prize is unclaimed after 2 draws the prize will be forfeited and the $15000 from Hinterland Tourism will go towards the July 2025 wedding festival.
10. The prize is for a wedding only. No other events.
11. Anyone can purchase a passport even if you are not getting married. However, in the passport you must nominate who you would like to gift your winning prize to. If no couple is nominated the passport will be void.
12. If one of the suppliers in the prize pool is unable to make it on the day they will find a replacement for you.
13. There will be a limited number of passports to purchase so once they are sold out there will be no other opportunity to purchase.
14. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, acts of nature and/or catastrophic or pandemic reasons - Should any of the suppliers in the package not be operating their business at the time of your wedding you will forfeit that supplier in the prize pool, as Hinterland Tourism can unfortunately take no responsibility for a supplier no longer operating. At the time of inception each supplier offered their services in good faith and signed T&C’s contract of the said prize.
15. You do not have to use all the suppliers in the prize pool however they are giving you a certain amount to spend so we suggest you do book them.
16. Suppliers may only be donating a portion of their usual services therefore you may need to pay an additional amount for extra services.
17. You will sign the T&C of each vendor and the venue directly and adhere to their T&C.
18. The prize is not redeemable for cash.
19. Hinterland Tourism will be offering $15,000 towards the wedding venue of your choice.
20. Flaxton Gardens and Tiffanys Maleny are both in house for food and beverage and will offer $3000 themselves towards your package.
21. Goodwater Ridge Maleny, Maleny Orchard and The Old Dairy Maleny are all DIY venues where you bring in catering and a bar service. These 3 venues will be offering you $3000 for food or bar service (not drinks just the staffing services due to liquor laws).
22. Should you select one of the 3 DIY venues the bar and catering teams MUST have been showcasing at the Summer 2025 wedding festival so please check with us before you book anyone in.
23. The Bertino Brothers are offering venues requiring catering or those who are happy to accept external catering teams- 15% off their services (with a min spend of $1600 plus GST)
