State of Flow. Mixed Media
This workshop is designed to develop technique and provide media inspiration. It is best suited for those with some prior experience of ink drawing and mixed media applications wanting to explore more advanced techniques or refresh their practice.
From line and wash styles of drawing through to mixed media layering, this workshop will show you how to exploit pigmented inks flow characteristics, pigment strength and once dry, their water resistance.
Experiment with both precise and organic application techniques using a wide variety of tools and play with layering techniques including underpainting, stenciling and collage.
Most techniques explored are suitable for works on both paper and canvas
