Exploring the painting technique of Clarice Beckett (SOLD OUT)

About
Clarice Beckett was an important Australian modernist known for her tonal landscapes of Bayside and surrounds. Renowned local artist Graeme Altmann will show participants how to work with water-mixable oil paints on board to create artworks inspired by Beckett’s approach.
The workshop will include an exploration of composition, colour harmony, and learning to simplify an image to create an expressive mood. Working from your own reference image or one composed during the workshop, there will be an emphasis on completing one small painting by the end of the session.
