Casey Golden Quartet
Casey Golden is a forward-thinking musician based in Sydney. Described as ‘a brilliant improviser with a highly developed melodic sensibility’ (The Australian) and ‘a pianist of sheer class’ (Jazzwise), he’s been involved in a wide range of original music ranging from jazz/improvised projects to electronic, pop and film music.
His new quartet features friends and close musical collaborators Felix Lalanne (guitar), Callum Eggins (bass) and Ed Rodrigues (drums). With a whole new book of tunes ready to go, they’ll be heading into the studio just days after this gig to record a new album. Expect 2 sets of modern jazz quartet music
$30/$15, and BYO food and drink. Doors from 7.30pm, music from 8pm!
