ACT Now 2025 (SOLD OUT)
ACT Now is a 1-day course for ward nurses. It is facilitated by our clinical educators to bring nursing staff from a range of areas together and involves pre-learning, group discussion and simulation.
The objectives of the day are:
1. Enhance use of assessment skills – ABCDE Assessment
2. Enhance critical thinking- Understanding ofObservation and Response Charts
3. Improve awareness of communication strategies that assist in the escalation of care - Use of ISBAR - Use of graded assertiveness
4. Team Training & Non-Technical Skills (CRM principles)
If you book a ticket in the ACT now session you must ensure that you have organised a study day or the day off with your NUM. You will received an email with prereading information 2 weeks before the course.
