Cherie Currie, the trailblazing rock icon and former front-woman of the groundbreaking band The Runaways, has announced her final Australian tour.As one of rock’s true pioneers, Cherie Currie exploded onto the music scene in the 1970s as the unmistakable teenage voice of The Runaways, delivering anthems like “Cherry Bomb” that redefined what it meant to be a young, fearless woman in rock ‘n’ roll.
Cherie Currie’s Final Australian Tour is the ultimate celebration of a rock legend who defined an era and inspired countless fans and would-be musicians around the globe. Whilst The Runaways never made it to Australia, we have been lucky enough to witness their iconic vocalist vocalist not only once, but now twice with a chance to say goodbye.
