Getting Started in Green Wood Spoon Carving

Join us for a journey into pre-industrial woodcraft. For centuries, spoons were carved from green wood fresh off the tree. Learn to use axes, sloyd knives, hook knives and other traditional techniques to craft your spoon like your ancestors did.No prior woodworking experience necessary. This workshop provides a great opportunity to begin a woodworking journey of discovery. Even if you are a seasoned woodworker, there are always new things to learn & experience. Warning! Spoon carving is known to become quite addictive!
A workshop for women of all ages, including girls min. age of 12 years.

Sturdy covered shoes are required (See T&Cs). The whole foot must be covered! Failure to comply results in exclusion from event.
