The Woombye Pub Blues Club “Sunday Arvo Blues" from 2:30pm on Sunday the 16th of March till 5:30pm.The Sunshine Blues Band pump out their own authentic brand of stripped down, upbeat, rhythm inspired music, rooted in Chicago and branching out to Texas, LA and beyond. They feature blistering harmonica and compelling vocals from Russ Babcock combining perfectly with the clean rhythms and tasty licks of Chris Roberts (guitar) and Marc Chadwick (keys). Stix Malone on drums, and Tony Vobr on bass provide the engine room that drives this dance-friendly outfit, fusing traditional blues rhythms with jazz and rock. This band knows how to deliver, bringing together decades of experience earned in venues from Perth to Brisbane, NZ, the US and London.
The show will be rounded out by The Spirits Blues Band; celebrating the tradition of the Clubs' effort to keep local Blues alive! Come for lunch on the day - you can book your tables directly with the hotel - phone 5442 1155.
