Community Dance Workshop supported by Arts Tasmania, open to all ages, abilities and experiences. Contemporary dance artist, Lily Alcock, will guide participants through somatic based practices, movement meditations, improvisation flows, and some disco grooving too! Local DJ Kate Bain and musician Sam Barnard will create an immersive sound experience, while visual artist Maggie Jeffries will be live drawing moving bodies to take home as keepsake moments. The experience will be captured by local videographers, while the media will be documenting to share the story of movement, community and collective healing.
