Mick Neven likes comedy about tough topics. In previous shows he’s tackled the War on Drugs, Bullying, Dementia, Climate Change and more.This time it’s gendered violence. Last year in Australia two women a week were killed by men…plus his daughter turned 16 and introduced her first boyfriend – great timing.
A two-time winner of the Perth Fringe World Weekly Comedy award, Mick knows how to craft a show with punch, humour and a heart.
This is a show for women and men…but not all men.
Mick Neven has been performing stand-up comedy for 21 years and has learned a thing or two in that time. Always park the car in a handy spot and try to get paid in advance are the two biggest lessons.
Surprisingly comedy has taken him all over the world. He's gigged all over the UK, Asia, Canada, performed in New York and been on three tours for Forces Entertainment, performing for Aussie troops.
