Drawing Colouring and Txt with the Sewing Machine

Join Sydney Artist Kelcie Byrant-Duiguid and explore the possibilities that free machine embroidery offers using a domestic sewing machine. We will draw, colour and write txt with our sewing machines on a range of substrates including fabric and paper. Participants will experiment and make a small machine embroidered brooch or stitched picture for framing.Suitable for both beginners and experienced sewers.
Must be familiar with basic sewing and use of your sewing machine.
All Materials and a Light Lunch Provided.
Students must bring their own sewing machine.
