Haydn's 'The Creation'
To start our 2025 concert program, Victoria Chorale is excited and proud to present THE CREATION by Joseph Haydn, on Saturday 17 May 2025 at 5pm in the stunning St Paul’s Cathedral.
One of the great oratorios of the Classical period, and sung in English, The Creation is the music of light, providing the audience with a joyful, optimistic and radiant vision of the 6 days of creation as well as celebrating the wonders of the natural world of which we are all custodians.
Lead by our exciting and innovative conductor, Mario Dobernig, we will be joined by the magnificent Art of Sound Orchestra and 4 brilliant soloists, Molly Ryan, Soprano, Sally-Anne Russell, Mezzo-Soprano, Andrew Goodwin, Tenor and Simon Meadows, Baritone.
