Rock Art Australia and the ANU's School of Culture, History & Language invite you to a Rock Art Australia lecture - "Two Ways to See": A Rock Art Research Journey at the ANU's Australia China in the World Lecture Theatre, Canberra.Please join Ian Waina and Professor Andy Gleadow as they share how traditional owners and scientists have worked together over the last decade to determine the age of rock art sites on Kwini and Balanggarra Country in the East Kimberley. This lecture will share personal stories and research findings that reveal the age of Australia's oldest known painting in a rock shelter.
Rock Art Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that funds and promotes collaborative rock art research projects which have social, cultural, economic and environmental benefits.
