Two of Australia’s leading Mizuhiki artists, Anna (Anna Japana) from Melbourne and Az (Happy JP Designs) from Perth, are back for their third workshop collaboration.
Mizuhiki, traditional Japanese paper cords, are widely used in gift decorations and hold a deep cultural significance. Join their creative Mizuhiki hands-on classes. Anna and Az, members of a renowned international Mizuhiki group, are passionate about sharing this beautiful art form.
Morning Session 11:00 - 12:30 (refer to the photo)
Focus on the Plum Blossom knot to create elegant earrings and a pendant.
Afternoon Session 13:30 - 15:00 (refer to the photo)
Explore the Awaji knot and its variations, allowing you to customize your earrings and pendant designs.
The sessions include a short talk about the history of Mizuhiki paper cords. Please understand some people won’t be able to finish everything during the session but follow up instructions will be given.
