Award-nominated Melbourne singer-songwriter Katankin performs at Sinclair's, as part of her South Australian tour to celebrate the recent release of her spectacular self-produced debut album 'Said the starling', which garnered a glowing 4-star review from Rhythms Magazine, and landed her lead single 'The fall' in the AMRAP Metro charts for 4 weeks.

With a clear, soaring voice that caresses and shatters by turns, Katankin reels in listeners with her signature poeticism and razor-sharp lyrics, all accompanied by her delicate fingerstyle guitar-playing.  'Said the starling' is the follow-up to her stunning 2022 debut EP 'The quiet shimmer of the world', which was nominated for Best Folk Work by Music Victoria, and was similarly self-produced by the artist.
