Well-known to Friends of Music Series audiences, Melbourne-based pianist Charlotte Roberts and Chilean Ricardo Roche Idini return this year with a luminous program featuring virtuosic works for both solo and duet piano.From the elegant brilliance of Mozart to the evocative landscapes of Ravel and Sibelius this concert promises a captivating journey through colour and character.
Ricardo will also shine a spotlight on vibrant works by Violetta Parra, celebrating his Chilean heritage, while Charlotte presents the distinct voice of Australian composer Linda Kouvaras, renowned for her dynamic and virtuosic contemporary works. An afternoon of exhilarating artistry and musical connection.
