About

Giuseppina Torre was born in Vittoria, in the province of Ragusa, Sicily. After obtaining a Diploma in Piano at the “V. Bellini” Music Institute in Caltanissetta she has performed in various Theatres and Higher Musical Education Schools, both in Italy and abroad. In the United States, she has won numerous awards: Los Angeles Music Awards (“International Artist of the Year” and “International Solo Performer of the Year”), Akademia Awards in Los Angeles (“Ambiental/Instrumental”) and 5th I.M.E.A. Awards 2018.

She played for Pope Francis on the occasion of the Epiphany Concert broadcast on Rai 1 2014 and in the Vatican at the Casina di Pio IV – Pontifical Academy of Sciences in the presence of Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri 2017. She was the opening act of the Il Volo concert at the Verona Arena on September 24, 2019 and participated in the latest edition of Piano City Palermo 2022.
