Step into the vineyard, roll up your sleeves, and get ready for an unforgettable hands-on winemaking experience at Balgownie Bendigo. This is your chance to be part of a time-honoured tradition—harvesting grapes and stomping them barefoot, just as generations of winemakers have done before.The day begins at 10:30am with a coffee and croissant before our winery team takes you into the vineyard to hand-pick our prized Shiraz grapes. After a morning among the vines, settle in for a grazing-style lunch on the deck, paired with a glass of estate wine.
Then comes the main event—the Stomp. Kick off your shoes, step into the barrel, and feel the grapes beneath your feet as you help craft the next vintage. It's messy, it’s lively, and it’s an experience you won’t forget.
To mark the occasion, every guest will receive a keepsake bottle of the 2025 Shiraz, delivered once bottled in 2026.
