About

Printmaking is traditionally presented in a two-dimensional format. For the exhibition Holmes 31.988780 116.016100, Western Australian artists Shanti Gelmi, Louise Grimshaw and Vanessa Wallace present non-traditional books, constructed from a combination of traditional and contemporary printed and sculptural techniques.

The nature of looking at, reading and experiencing a book is a tactile activity. We invite visitors with a disability to join the artists for a hands-on introduction to the artworks.
