Welcome to all the Grade 6 Fathers & Sons for 2025!
We've organised something special for this year's camp. This year we've secured an exlusive, dedicated campsite at Noosa Camp, located within Noosa North Shore Retreat.
Why You Should Attend?
Activities Include: Night time laser tag, mountain bike riding, indoor bouldering, canoeing, bush orienteering race, cricket, volleyball, and both a handball and fishing competition.
When and Where
Date: Join us on the King's Birthday long weekend, October 3rd (Friday) - 6th (Monday). Please note the camp falls on the last weekend of the Sept/Oct school holidays.
Location: Nestled in the pristine natural beauty of the Great Sandy National Park, Noosa Camp (at Noosa North Shore Retreat) is located at 1 Beach Rd, Noosa North Shore. The campsite is only accessible by car ferry.
What's happening?
With school sport unlikely on the Saturday (4th), you can arrive either Friday or Saturday morning. Upon arrival check-in and set up your tent or caravan.
The official Camp Welcome is at 12pm on the Saturday.
Weekend activities include night time laser tag, mountain bike riding, canoeing, fishing, handball, chess, trivia night, tug of war, lucky door prizes, and more.
Enjoy great food from the kitchen all weekend. We'll also watch the NRL Grand Final LIVE Sunday night!
On Monday, and following another gourmet breakfast, families will pack up their tents and assist with cleaning and packing common areas.
The camp finishes at 9am.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need to buy two tickets? No, one ticket includes an adult and child.
Do I need to book a site with the Noosa North Shore Retreat? No, we have a group booking - just purchase a ticket.
Can I book a different site/accommodation directly with the Noosa North Shore Retreat or other nearby accommodation? No, booking a different site or accommodation directly with the Noosa North Shore Retreat or other nearby accommodations is not allowed. The reason for this is we now have a designated area for the camp, Noosa Camp, and no other camping options are permitted. If you book alternative accommodation, you and your son will not be able to participate in the father/son camp.
How do I get to Noosa North Shore Retreat? The Noosa North Shore Ferry runs with two large ferries and now accepts credit cards. Cost is $30 return.
Do I need a 4WD vehicle to access Noosa Retreat? No, all roads to the venue are paved.
Can I bring another child? The event is open to Year 6 students only. In exceptional circumstances, you may bring another sibling. You will need to purchase an additional child ticket for $120.
One of my son’s classmates' father/guardian cannot attend. Can they come with us? Yes, just add them to your booking as an additional child. The ticket price is $120.
How can I help? All fathers will be required to chip in over the weekend. A roster will be posted on Friday detailing which father is on kitchen and various other duties.
Managed Activities: Some activities offered over the weekend will be run by the Noosa School Camp & Retreat.
Can I bring a bike? Yes! Bring your own or hire one for $100 per long weekend. A $50 bond is required, refunded after camp.
Are motorised devices allowed? No eBikes, eScooters, outboards, due to safety concerns. If unsure, contact us.
I want to bring my Caravan/RV. How do I book? You will need to book the “Tent Camping” ticket and add the “Caravan/RV Surcharge” option.
I want to hire a glamour tent. How do I book? Due to their large size glamour tents are not allowed onsite. Therefore as an alternative you can either book a hut or a caravan site.
Who will apply sunscreen to my son and ensure he brushes his teeth? We take no responsibility for bad parenting.
What size tent can I bring? Ideally a medium-sized 4-man tent per campsite. If you want to bring a larger tent, or camp with other families, please email a request to the committee by Wednesday, September 11th. See Campsite configuration photo.
Do I need to pack different clothes for my son? It's up to you. Based on past camps, they generally arrive home in the same clothes they left in.
Is there parking onsite? Yes, unlike last year, there are no restrictions on parking.
Can you cater to allergies and dietary requirements? We don’t have a commercial kitchen or professional chefs. But we will do our best to accommodate specific needs. Please speak to the kitchen team via the 'contact event organiser'.
Year 7 Father/Son Camp: For families with boys in Year 6 and Year 7, please note the Year 7 Father/Son Camp is scheduled for the same weekend but at a different location.
