Ensuring Kindness and Compassion in Public Policy
Dr Sue Wareham and Emeritus Professor Stuart Rees will discuss how and why human rights, social justice, respect, kindness and compassion should and could inform public policy, and why currently, they do not.
Dr Sue Wareham, President of the Medical Association for Prevention of War, has spoken and written widely on matters related to peace and disarmament including the human, environmental, climate, economic and many other costs of warfare.
Emeritus Professor Stuart Rees, founder of the Centre for Peace & Conflict Studies in Sydney, inaugural Director of the Sydney Peace Foundation and a human rights activist
