St James Kids' Adventure Camp 2025 (Run by the Dads)

WHEN

Friday 14 March 2025 to Sunday 16 March 2025  - 2 night stay

Friday - arrive from 5pm, with dinner served at 6:30pm

Saturday - Breakfast, Activity 1*, Morning Tea, Activity 2*, Lunch, relaxing afternoon or Beach Party, then Dinner (Proposed Movie Night in Gymnasium and kids scavenger hunt)

Sunday - Breakfast, Activity 3*, Morning Tea, Activiy 4*, & take away lunch provided for the car trip home

ABOUT

The St James Adventure Kids’ camp is for students (Prep to Year 6) and their dads, step dads or a special male relative/friend, to spend a weekend down the coast enjoying quality time together Surfing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding (inc. Giant SUP which kids love!), Body Boarding, Camp Activties and generally hanging out together. This weekend also provides loads of opportunities for dads and kids to socialise in a super casual setting, normally next to a camp fire! 

 The YMCA Anglesea Recreational Camp is located on the famous Great Ocean Road and just minutes away from the beach - a true seaside escape. The camp is fully catered for (all meals & dormitory beds) and activities are facilitated by friendly YMCA staff or in the case of Surfing & Paddle Boarding, run by the local experienced team at 'Go Ride a Wave'.

*Activities are optional, but participation is encouraged, to give the kids a beach experience they will never forget. They are at an additonal cost to the accomodation & meals.

On Saturday afternoon for those who are interested bring your towel, bluetooth speaker, eskie and favourite beach games and join other St James families for an arvo on the beach.  There are no structured activities but a good chance for a bit of fun on the beach!  Meet at Anglesea Main Beach
