Patrick has travelled to several countries including Chad and The Philippines on behalf of the Gideons and sharing God’s word. Patrick has many powerful stories of how God has been moving in these countries by working with and supporting local Gideon members.
A Gideon International Scripture Blitz is one of the most significant mission outreach programs in all of Christendom with many hundreds of thousands of copies of the Word of God going into the hands of people - providing hope and great wisdom.
For many people receiving a testament handed out by the Gideons, it is often the only book owned by that person or their family.
This dinner helps provide sufficient funds to supply these valuable testaments in countries unable to afford these precious gifts. Matthew 28:19–20 says "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".
