The Heartbreak Club - Single Launches
Heartbreak Club is a collaborative project led by singer songwriters Duncan Phillips and Stefanie Duzel, featuring Melbourne rhythm stalwarts Luke Richardson on Bass and Matt Gibson on Drums.
Originally conceived as multi artist showcase at the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival – where rotating artists performed their original material with a single backing band – the concept worked so well that founding member Duncan Phillips brought it home Melbourne.
Since then, various incarnations of the Heartbreak Club have taken to stages across the city and at Tamworth, evolving into a dynamic collective blending country, soul, blues and folk influences.
Now with Phillips and Duzel at the helm, the project has solidified into a songwriting and recording venture under the Heartbreak Club moniker.
Their debut releases A Hard Thing To Do and Come Around will be launched on Thursday, April 3rd at George Lane, St. Kilda. Supporting on the night is Katie Brianna.
