The University of New South Wales invites all chess players to our FIDE and ACF rated weekender classical tournament competition!Date and Time:
21-23rd March 2025
Opening: 21st March, 6:00pm
Round 1: 21st March, 7:00pm
Round 2: 22nd March, 11:00am
Round 3: 22nd March, 2:30pm
Round 4: 22nd March, 6:00pm
Round 5: 23rd March, 10:00am
Round 6: 23rd March, 1:30pm
Round 7: 23rd March, 5:00pm
Venue:
Room TBA, High St, UNSW Sydney, Kensington
Accessible by public transport - a short walk from UNSW High St or UNSW Anzac Parade Light Rail station
Format:
60 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1
ACF and FIDE rated 7-round tournament, using Swiss pairings
Players may request one half-point bye for rounds 1-5 by emailing a bye request to chessclubunsw@gmail.com before the 18th of March.
