RetroSuburbia Bookclub

RetroSuburbia, written by Permaculture Co-Originator David Holmgren, looks at how people can retrofit their homes, gardens, communities and, above all themselves to be more sustainable and resilient in uncertain times. Delving also into the areas of work and more meaningful ways of living, RetroSuburbia is divided into three main sections: Built Field (housing and infrastructure), the Biological Field (nature and small animal husbandry) Behavioural Field (reimagining communities).
As with most things, working your way through Retrosuburbia is best done in community. Register now to reserve your place. We will commence exploring content together on March 29th 2025 and run for eight sessions until November. Registered Participants will need to have read “Introduction” through to “Chapter Three” for the first session.
