School holiday: Create your own ceramic leaves for the Alba

About
Create your own unique ceramic leaves to contribute to the public art installation, The Alba Tree facilitated by professional artist, Shellie Christian. The Alba Tree symbolises new beginnings and hope. More than a symbol, it is a community-driven public art project that will come to life during a two week period where The Alba Tree will be on display at The Arboretum in Pearl Beach. The tree’s steel structure will be built on-site, with the handcrafted clay leaves added to reflect its rebirth. Free clay leaf-making workshops will be held, inviting all to create unique leaves that will become part of the tree. The transformation will be celebrated at an opening event on National Tree Day, Sunday, July 27.
