SAI Platform Australia 2025 Field Trip to Southern QLD

SAI Platform Australia is hosting a two-day field trip to Toowoomba, Gatton and Dalby, Qld, 28-9 May 2025.Over two days we will explore science and trials to reduce carbon emissions. We will visit Australia's largest feedlot at Mort & Co's Grassdale property and one of the country's largest horticulture producers, Rugby Farm at Gatton. We will also learn a lot about sustainable cotton growing efforts through a farm visit and hearing from other producers and local Nutrien Ag agronomist. There will be a formal dinner with a panel of speakers discussing current opportunities and challenges for Australian agriculture.
The $400+GST cost to members covers accommodation and all meals, contribution to costs such as bus hire. The $600+GST cost for non-members includes an additional contribution to SAI Platform Australia.
Departure from Brisbane airport 10.15 am on Wednesday 28 May. Return to the airport by 5.30 pm the next day. Please book flights home after 6.30 pm.
