About our programs

Build-Up Program (Year K – 2)  - Designed for younger Children where they start from learning the basics of building LEGO® Models.   The program introduces Students to the basic principles of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) through hands-on experiential learning.  Students build motorized machines using LEGO®, motors and batteries.

Engineering & Robotics Program (Year 3 – 6)  -  Students will learn basic STEM concepts and introduced to the exciting world of robotics.  Students learn to build motorized robot ‘models’ using LEGO®.  They further program the robots using coding, LEGO® WeDo 2.0 software to perform the tasks. This is designed to develop their procedural and algorithmic logic, and help develop their critical thinking & creative problem solving skills.

The Term is divided into two sections.  Initial weeks we will be focusing on learning the engineering components, to create the foundation.  Second part of the term will include the Coding aspect, in addition to the Engineering components.

If you wish to use your Service NSW Active & Creative Kids Voucher for this program. Once you have paid the full fees. Please email your Active & Creative Kids Voucher number, your childs name, childs DOB, the location and program your child/ children are attending to infohills@young-engineers.com.au.  Once Service NSW has accepted your voucher we will then reimburse you the $50 credit.
