Restoring our Riverbanks - Events

About
The 2020-2022 floods had a devastating and destructive impact on riverbanks all across NSW.Enormous quantities of soil, trees and shrubs were washed away.
The restoration of a site in Freemans Reach, near Windsor, was a massive undertaking and it has been designed and reconstructed to prevent erosion in future flooding events.
This event will share the story behind this restoration, the design, the challenges and demonstrate the value and benefits of utilising natural turf to restore riverbanks and prevent further erosion.
The event is held at the Greenlife Turf Farm Site in Freemans Reach.
Parking is available on site.
Attendees are required to wear closed in shoes and comfortable clothing for an outdoor event.
