Fred Smith ANZAC Day Special - on the eve of ANZAC Day

About
NB: only 50 tickets left - Samford Farmers Hall - I expect It will sell out - door tickets unlikely.Doors open 6:30pm for 7:30pm start
Fred Smith will be getting together with some of Queensland’s finest musicians to serve up a survey in song of the experiences of Australians at war. The performance begins with the works of the great Australian balladeers: Henry Lawson, Eric Bogle and John Schumann, then moves on to Fred’s firsthand accounts from the valleys of Uruzgan Province and the chaos of Kabul airport. Far from glorifying war, the show offers an honest and personal account of the comedy and tragedy experienced by the young people who have put it on the line for the country and the alliances to which we adhere.
“Finely observed snapshots of a harsh, sad and funny reality…balancing drama and humour…towering artistic achievement” John Shand, SMH
“Simply, this is a story that must be told - and must be heard. Do not miss this - it’s too important” John Schumann
