This sophisticated work of historical fiction explores the power of art and timeless human emotions. We look forward to welcoming you to the Veritas Theatre!Overview: Penniless and indebted, young playwright William Shakespeare is struggling with writer’s block until he meets the passionate Viola de Lesseps, a wealthy merchant’s daughter who secretly dreams of acting. Their love blossoms in secrecy, but Viola is promised to the arrogant Lord Wessex for her family’s gain. As Will and Viola’s romance unfolds, it inspires his greatest work—Romeo and Juliet. With opening night and the wedding day approaching, their fates race toward a thrilling conclusion. Will love conquer all, or will their story end in heartbreak?
