Ticket Q&A
Why do tickets cost what they do?
EGA has worked hard to keep costs down while ensuring an authentic, high-quality experience. Hosting an outdoor conference with camping and programming in one location comes with unique logistical challenges, especially given recent years of bushfires, global events, and rising costs.
Garden States: Regeneration offers access to an exceptional forest site with permanent amenities, including hot showers, self-catering facilities, and on-site meal vendors. Our finely curated program minimises tough decisions between sessions and provides opportunities for informal knowledge sharing and collaboration.
As a volunteer-run botanical charity, we are committed to equitable knowledge sharing. If attending remains beyond your means, visit our YouTube channel for hundreds of hours of free educational content from past events.
Do I need to pay for parking?
All entry tickets include long-stay parking at no extra cost—vehicles can unload in the campground, then must remain in the long-stay carpark for the duration of the event. If you wish to park in the campground, a Campground Parking Pass must be purchased. If you are staying off-site, you must purchase an Off-Site Access Pass. Please email us if you must stay off-site due to a disability—we value accessibility and inclusivity and will do our best to support you.
Will any premium accommodation options be available on-site?
We’re working on offering some enhanced on-site accommodation packages to make your stay even more comfortable. While details aren’t available just yet, keep an eye out for future announcements.
How do I keep up to date with EGA events and publications?

Are there any opportunities to volunteer at the event?
There will be a limited number of volunteer opportunities available. Further information will become available soon.
I have more questions!
